How to download Instagram videos
On a computer, copy the link from the address bar instead. Links with or without the username in them work.
Videos in a carousel
A carousel can hold up to 20 photos and videos. The tool shows every one in a grid, numbered in order.
Tap 1 to play it in the card, then press Download. Or press Download all (ZIP) to save them all at once, in 1 ZIP file made in your browser.

On the public posts I checked on September 26, 2026, Instagram shared videos at 720p. The tool shows each file's size before you download it.
What it can't save
- Private accounts. Only their followers see their posts.
- Stories and highlights. Instagram shows them only to signed-in accounts, and this tool never signs in.
- Removed posts. A link to a deleted post leads nowhere.
Downloading on iPhone and Android
On a phone, press Download and the video saves to your downloads: the Files app on an iPhone, the Downloads folder on Android.
Where your phone supports it, tap Share or save once to get the file, then again to open the share sheet. An iPhone offers Save Video there, which puts it in Photos.
Your own videos, and someone else's
A video belongs to the person who posted it.
Save your own freely: to post it somewhere else, to edit it, or to keep a copy. Before you reuse someone else's, ask them, and credit them when you do.
