How the MP3 is made
TikTok's own sound file isn't always an MP3, and it can be longer than the video. On a creator's video I checked on September 26, 2026, TikTok's sound file was AAC and 6 minutes 24 seconds long, for an 88-second video.
So the tool takes the sound out of the video itself, and makes it into a 192 kbps MP3 with LAME, the free MP3 encoder, right in your browser:

Songs and original sounds
A TikTok's sound is either an original sound, recorded by the creator, or a song from TikTok's music library.
A song belongs to its artist and label. Save it to find out what it is, or to listen, and pick it from TikTok's own library to use it in your video.
Downloading on iPhone and Android
On a phone, press MP3 and the file saves to your downloads: the Files app on an iPhone, the Downloads folder on Android.
On an iPhone, open it in Files to play it or send it on.
Why some sounds won't download
- The account is private. Only its approved followers see its videos.
- The video was removed, or it's limited in your country.
- TikTok didn't answer. Try again in a minute.
