Question 1

What is an Instagram carousel generator?

Accepted Answer

An Instagram carousel generator is a tool that turns text into a set of slides at Instagram's size, ready to post as 1 swipeable post. This one reads your post or thread from a link, lets you edit every slide, and runs free in your browser.

Question 2

Is this Instagram carousel generator free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's free: no signup, no watermark and nothing to install. The slides are drawn in your browser.

Question 3

How many slides can an Instagram carousel have?

Accepted Answer

An Instagram carousel can have up to 20 photos or videos (Instagram Help). The tool tells you when your text makes more than 20 slides.

Question 4

What size should Instagram carousel slides be?

Accepted Answer

Instagram carousel slides work best at 4:5, 1080 × 1350 pixels, the default here. Tall 3:4 at 1080 × 1440 fills the profile grid, and a 1080 × 1080 square works too. Keep every slide the same size.

Question 5

How do I get the slides onto my phone?

Accepted Answer

On your phone, press Share and save the slides to Photos, or share them straight to Instagram. On a computer, press Download slides and send the images to your phone.

Question 6

Can I turn a tweet or a thread into an Instagram carousel?

Accepted Answer

Yes, paste the links, 1 per line, and press Read. Each post becomes a slide after the cover, with your name and photo.

Question 7

Can I make an animated Instagram carousel?

Accepted Answer

Yes, press Download animated slides for 1 MP4 per slide, each typing its own words. Instagram lets a carousel mix photos and videos, so post them in order like images.

Question 8

Can I edit each slide?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every slide has its own box. Edit, add or remove slides, or paste slides your AI wrote with a blank line between them. Back to automatic splits the text again.

Question 9

How do I write an Instagram carousel with AI?

Accepted Answer

Pick Split it into slides under Ask AI to, open it in Claude or ChatGPT, then paste the slides it writes into Or paste your AI's slides.

Question 10

Can I add my logo?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Add your logo or photo with your site or handle, at the top or the bottom of every slide. Pick My brand for your own colors and font.

Question 11

Is my post stored?

Accepted Answer

No, nothing is stored: the slides are drawn in your browser, and your work is kept in this browser only. Reading a link fetches only that public post.

Question 12

Who made the Instagram carousel generator?
