Question 3

Question 5

What quality are downloaded Instagram Reels?

Accepted Answer

Downloaded Instagram Reels come in the quality Instagram shares them, which was 720p on the public Reels I checked on September 26, 2026. No downloader can give you more than Instagram sends.

Question 6

Can I download a Reel with its music?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a downloaded Reel keeps its sound, music included. To save only the sound, press MP3 or M4A.

Question 7

Can I download Reels without the link?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can download Reels without the link: type the account's username instead. The Instagram Reels downloader shows the account's latest 6 posts, and you pick the one you want.

Question 8

Why does a username show only 6 posts?

Accepted Answer

A username shows the account's latest 6 posts because that's all Instagram shows to anyone who isn't signed in, and this tool never signs in to Instagram. For an older post, open it on Instagram and paste its link.

Question 9

Can I download Reels from a private account?

Accepted Answer

No, you can't download Reels from a private Instagram account with this tool, because only the account's followers can see them and the tool never signs in.

Can I download Instagram Stories here?

Accepted Answer

No, the Instagram Reels downloader doesn't save Stories or highlights, because Instagram shows them only to signed-in accounts and this tool never signs in to Instagram.

Question 11

Do I need an Instagram account to download Reels?

Accepted Answer

No, you don't need an Instagram account to download Reels with this tool. It reads public Reels the way anyone can see them without signing in.

Question 12

Is it legal to download Instagram Reels?

Accepted Answer

Saving a public Reel for yourself is how most people use a Reels downloader, but the Reel still belongs to the person who posted it. Save your own freely, and ask before you post someone else's again.

Question 13

Do downloaded Reels have a watermark?

Accepted Answer

No, a Reel saved with this tool has no watermark, because the MP4 comes straight from Instagram's servers as Instagram stores it.

Question 14

Is the Reel stored on your server?

Accepted Answer

No, the Reel is never stored on my site: it downloads straight from Instagram's servers to your device. The tool reads only Instagram's public embed page, and keeps what it found for 6 hours.

Question 15

Can I download many at once?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can download many at once: press Paste many links at once, paste up to 10 links, 1 per line, and press Download all (ZIP). The best file of each link comes in 1 ZIP, made in your browser.

Question 16

Can I get the transcript of the video?
