An IGTV downloader is a tool that saves a video from IGTV, Instagram's old home for long videos, as a file on your device.
This one reads a public video from its link, old or new, and saves it as an MP4 in the quality Instagram shares.
What happened to IGTV
IGTV was Instagram's place for videos longer than a minute, with its own app and its own tab. In 2022, Instagram retired the IGTV app and made IGTV videos ordinary Instagram videos.
The videos are still there. Their old links, with /tv/ in them, still open them, and this tool still reads them.
How to download IGTV videos
Links with /tv/, /p/ or /reel/ in them all work, with or without the username. You can also type a username and pick from the account's latest 6 posts.

Why some videos won't download
- The account is private. Only its approved followers see its videos.
- The video was removed, or it's limited in your country.
- Instagram didn't answer. Try again in a minute.
Downloading on iPhone and Android
On a phone, press Download and the video saves to your downloads: the Files app on an iPhone, the Downloads folder on Android.
Where your phone supports it, tap Share or save once to get the file, then again to open the share sheet. An iPhone offers Save Video there, which puts it in Photos.
Your own videos, and someone else's
A video belongs to the person who posted it. Save your own freely, like your old IGTV episodes. Before you reuse someone else's, ask them, and credit them when you do.
