I've built funnels for over a decade. I built my pages with Thrive's plugins on WordPress, sent my emails with what is now Kit, and sold through ThriveCart, where I processed millions of dollars.

Today I build my own pages, funnels and checkouts with Next.js on Vercel and AI coding tools like Claude Code and Codex. That isn't for everyone, so this guide covers that way and the tools that do it for you.

I went through each one's own pricing and feature pages, and wrote up what it does well, where it falls short, and what it really costs.

In this guide, I'll show you:

  • All 16 ClickFunnels alternatives I reviewed, each with who it's for, key features, pros, cons and pricing
  • What ClickFunnels costs today, and why people move off it
  • The kinds of alternatives, and what to look for
  • What I use today

Every price here is from the tool's own pages, read in late September and early October 2026.

Key takeaways

I reviewed 16 ClickFunnels alternatives from their own pricing and feature pages, each with who it's for, pros, cons and pricing.
HighLevel is my pick: a CRM, funnels, email, SMS and payments, with unlimited contacts, from $97 a month.
For a checkout with upsells, ThriveCart takes 0% of your sales, and for courses and coaching, Kajabi.
Watch the limits more than the price: contacts on Kajabi and Kartra, visitors on Unbounce and Instapage, and sites on the WordPress plugins.
Today I build my own funnels with Next.js and AI coding tools, but that isn't for everyone.

1. HighLevel

HighLevel's home page: the AI-powered business operating system

HighLevel is an all-in-one platform for marketing and selling: a CRM, funnels and websites, email and SMS, calendars, payments, and courses and communities.

It does what ClickFunnels does and more, and it's the one I'd pick if I weren't building my own funnels.

Every plan has unlimited contacts and unlimited users, and HighLevel takes no cut of your sales. Payments go through Stripe, PayPal, NMI and others.

HighLevel says most of its users replace their CRM, funnel builder, email tool, scheduler and SMS tools with it.

What you pay on top is usage: phone numbers, SMS, emails and AI are charged as you use them.

Who is HighLevel for?

HighLevel is for businesses and agencies that want their funnels, CRM, email, SMS and bookings in one account, with no cap on contacts.

Key features

  • A CRM with unlimited contacts and users
  • Funnels and websites on your own domains
  • Email and SMS marketing
  • Calendars and bookings
  • Payments through Stripe, PayPal, NMI and others
  • Courses and communities for your members
  • An affiliate program and a mobile app
  • Sub-accounts for clients, and SaaS mode on Agency Pro

Pros

  • Unlimited contacts and users on every plan
  • Replaces your CRM, funnels, email, scheduler and SMS tools
  • No cut of your sales
  • A 14-day free trial, month to month with no long-term contract

Cons

  • Starts at $97 a month
  • Phone, SMS, email and AI are charged by use, on top of the plan
  • Its plans are built around sub-accounts, the way an agency works

Pricing

HighLevel has three plans, each with a 14-day free trial, from its pricing page as read on October 2, 2026:

  • Starter – $97 a month, or $970 a year, with three sub-accounts.
  • Unlimited – $297 a month, or $2,970 a year, with unlimited sub-accounts.
  • Agency Pro – $497 a month, or $4,970 a year, with SaaS mode, to sell HighLevel as your own software.

2. Next.js on Vercel

Vercel's home page: agentic infrastructure

This is how I build my own pages, funnels and checkouts today: in Next.js, hosted on Vercel, and written with AI coding tools like Claude Code and Codex.

Next.js is a free, open-source web framework from Vercel. Vercel puts what you build on its global network, with HTTPS and a preview link for every change.

You don't have to be a developer to start. You describe the page you want, and the AI coding tool writes it, runs it and changes what you point out.

Nothing caps my pages or contacts, and every page looks the way I want. But it takes longer to set up than a builder, so it isn't for everyone.

I'm working on templates of my own, so you can start from what I use.

Who is Next.js on Vercel for?

It's for creators and founders who want their pages, funnels and checkouts to look exactly the way they want, with no builder's limits, and who don't mind learning as they go.

Key features

  • Pages built to your own design, with no template or page limits
  • AI coding tools that write the code: Claude Code with Claude Pro, and Codex with ChatGPT Plus
  • Next.js, free and open source
  • Vercel's global network, with HTTPS on every plan
  • A preview link for every change before it goes live
  • A free first-year domain on Vercel Pro, on endings like .app and .site

Pros

  • No caps on pages, contacts or design
  • The code is yours, and Next.js runs on other hosts too
  • Vercel's Hobby plan is free for personal projects
  • Any email tool or checkout works with it

Cons

  • Slower to set up than a builder
  • You look after the code, with your AI tool's help
  • Hobby is for non-commercial use, so a business needs Pro, at $20 a month
  • Forms, email and a checkout are yours to connect

Pricing

Here's what it costs, from Vercel's, Claude's and ChatGPT's pricing pages as read on October 3, 2026:

  • Next.js – free and open source.
  • Vercel Hobby – free, for personal, non-commercial projects.
  • Vercel Pro – $20 a month, with $20 of usage included and a 14-day free trial. Each extra developer seat is $20 a month.
  • Claude Pro, with Claude Code – $17 a month billed yearly, or $20 monthly.
  • ChatGPT Plus, with Codex – $20 a month. ChatGPT's free plan has limited Codex access.

3. ThriveCart

ThriveCart's home page: the creator stack used by 75,000+ solopreneurs, coursemakers and community builders

ThriveCart is a checkout platform: cart and checkout pages with order bumps, one-click upsells, subscriptions and an affiliate center, plus ThriveCart Academy for your courses and a community.

It takes 0% of your sales on every plan, with payments through your own Stripe, PayPal or Authorize.Net. ThriveCart says sellers have processed over $8 billion through it.

I'm one of them. I processed millions of dollars through ThriveCart, selling my courses and virtual summits.

So if what you like about ClickFunnels is the checkout and the upsells, this is the one I'd look at first.

Who is ThriveCart for?

ThriveCart is for creators and course sellers who want a checkout that sells more per order, without a big monthly plan.

Key features

  • Custom checkout and cart pages, in 100+ countries
  • One-click upsells and downsells, order bumps and A/B split testing
  • Abandoned cart recovery and sales tax automation
  • Buy now pay later, split pay, pay-what-you-like and subscriptions
  • ThriveCart Academy: courses, a community, quizzes and certificates
  • An affiliate center with automated payouts, on Pro+

Pros

  • 0% fees on your sales, on every plan
  • Order bumps and one-click upsells from the first plan
  • A 30-day free trial
  • Your courses and a community in the same account

Cons

  • Standard gives you one order bump
  • The affiliate center, coupons and your own domain start on Pro+, at $87 a month

Pricing

ThriveCart has two plans, each with a 30-day free trial, and Enterprise on request, from its pricing page as read on September 29, 2026:

  • Standard – $47 a month, with ThriveCart Academy Starter: unlimited courses and students, and up to 2,000 community members.
  • Pro+ – $87 a month, with multiple order bumps, the affiliate center, coupons, custom domains and up to 10,000 community members.

4. Kajabi

Kajabi's home page: the all-in-one platform that turns what you know into what you earn

Kajabi is an all-in-one platform for courses, coaching, memberships and a community, with your website, email, funnels and checkout built in.

It takes no cut of your sales on any plan. Kajabi Payments charges card fees, which differ by country.

By Kajabi's own count, experts on it have earned over $12 billion since 2010.

It costs more than ClickFunnels to start, at $179 a month. But it also replaces your course platform, your email tool and your website.

Who is Kajabi for?

Kajabi is for course creators and coaches who want their funnels, email, community and courses in one place, and would rather pay one plan than connect five tools.

Key features

  • Courses, coaching and memberships
  • A private community with multiple groups
  • Unlimited emails, landing pages and funnels

Its free plan covers up to 10,000 subscribers, with unlimited landing pages, forms and email broadcasts, and you can sell digital products and subscriptions on it.

Kit isn't a full funnel builder like ClickFunnels. Its strength is your list, the emails you send it and the automations around them.

16. Thrive Suite

Thrive Themes' home page: the last WordPress toolkit you'll ever need

Thrive Suite is a set of WordPress plugins from Thrive Themes for building a site that sells: a page builder, a theme builder, lead forms, quizzes, countdowns, A/B tests and courses.

I used Thrive's products a lot over the years, back when I built my sites on WordPress.

It has no checkout of its own, so it pairs with one like ThriveCart or WooCommerce.

What is ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels is a funnel builder: sales pages, checkouts with one-click upsells and order bumps, email, a CRM and courses, from the company Russell Brunson co-founded.

It takes no fee on your sales beyond Stripe's. Every plan comes with unlimited funnels for now, which ClickFunnels marks as a limited-time offer, and its plans grow by courses, contacts and team members.

Here's what it costs, from its pricing page as read on September 29, 2026:

  • Launch – $97 a month, or $81 billed yearly, with three courses and 10,000 contacts.
  • Scale – $197 a month, or $164 billed yearly, with six courses and 75,000 contacts.
  • Optimize – $297 a month, or $248 billed yearly, with 10 courses and an API.
  • Dominate – $499.75 a month, billed yearly, with 20 courses.

Why look for a ClickFunnels alternative?

There are three common reasons:

  • The price – ClickFunnels starts at $97 a month, and several tools here start lower, or free.
  • You only need part of it – just landing pages, just a checkout, or just email.
  • You want more in one place – HighLevel adds a CRM, SMS and calendars with unlimited contacts, for the same $97.

What to look for in a ClickFunnels alternative

Five things decide most of it:

  1. What you sell – courses and coaching suit Kajabi or Kartra, physical and digital products suit a checkout like ThriveCart or SamCart, and lead generation suits a landing page builder.
  2. The checkout – order bumps and one-click upsells raise what each buyer spends. ThriveCart has them from the first plan, and SamCart from Pro.
  3. Email and a CRM – HighLevel, Kajabi, Kartra, Systeme.io and GetResponse send your emails too. Landing page builders need an email tool next to them.
  4. The limits – contacts on Kajabi, Kartra and Systeme.io, visitors on Unbounce and Instapage, and sites on the WordPress plugins.
  5. Hosted or WordPress – a hosted platform runs everything for you, and a WordPress plugin runs on your own site, where hosting and updates are yours.

It comes in six kinds:

All-in-one platforms

Funnels, email, a CRM and a checkout under one plan, like HighLevel, Kajabi, Kartra and Systeme.io.

Build your own

Your own pages, funnels and checkouts, written with AI coding tools like Claude Code and Codex, on Vercel.

Checkout platforms

Checkouts with order bumps and upsells, like ThriveCart and SamCart.

Landing page builders

Pages that convert, with A/B tests, like Leadpages, Unbounce, Instapage and Landingi.

Email platforms with funnels

Your list first, with pages and products, like Kit and GetResponse.

WordPress plugins

Funnels on your own site, like FunnelKit, CartFlows and Thrive Suite.

The best free ClickFunnels alternatives

Here's where you can start without paying:

  • Systeme.io – a free plan with three funnels, unlimited emails and 2,000 contacts.
  • Kit – free for up to 10,000 subscribers, with unlimited landing pages and forms.
  • CartFlows – a free version for WooCommerce on WordPress.

What I use

I build my own pages, funnels and checkouts now, the way I describe in Next.js on Vercel above, and I sell through my own checkout, Creator Store.

If you'd rather not build your own, HighLevel is the one I'd pick. And I'm working on templates of my own, so you can start from what I use.

FAQs about ClickFunnels alternatives

Here are answers to the questions people ask most about ClickFunnels alternatives.

HighLevel is my pick, with a CRM, funnels, email, SMS and payments and unlimited contacts, from $97 a month.

For a checkout with upsells, I'd pick ThriveCart, and for courses and coaching, Kajabi.

Systeme.io has a free plan with three funnels, unlimited emails and 2,000 contacts.

Kit is free for up to 10,000 subscribers, and CartFlows has a free version for WooCommerce.

Systeme.io starts at $17 a month, GetResponse at $19 and ThriveCart at $47, against ClickFunnels' $97.

Systeme.io and Kit also have free plans.

For most businesses it does more for the same price, with a CRM, SMS, calendars and unlimited contacts from $97 a month.

ClickFunnels' Launch plan, also $97, includes 10,000 contacts.

FunnelKit and CartFlows add funnels, checkouts and upsells to a WooCommerce store.

Thrive Suite adds landing pages, lead forms and courses, and pairs with a checkout like ThriveCart.

You can, and it's what I do, with Next.js on Vercel and AI coding tools like Claude Code and Codex.

It takes more setup than a funnel builder, so it isn't for everyone.

It is if you want funnels, upsells, email and courses in one place, and the $97 Launch plan fits.

For the same price, HighLevel adds a CRM, SMS, calendars and unlimited contacts.

Leadpages has A/B testing and no traffic caps on any plan, from $99 a month.

Unbounce starts at $29 a month, with A/B testing from its $149 Experiment plan.

HighLevel, ThriveCart, Kajabi, Systeme.io and SamCart take no cut of your sales.

Kartra's Essentials plan keeps 5%, and its higher plans take none.

I build my own pages, funnels and checkouts, and sell through my own checkout, Creator Store.

Before that, I sold through ThriveCart, where I processed millions of dollars.

Final thoughts on ClickFunnels alternatives

There are a lot of funnel tools out there, so it comes down to what you sell, how much you want in one place, and your budget.

Here are my final recommendations:
