This free sales page teardown checks your sales page section by section and tells you what to fix first.

Paste your link, and it reads what it can from the page: the headline, the price, the guarantee, the FAQ, the proof and the buttons. Then you answer the rest, or your AI does.

Here's what a sales page teardown is, what it checks, and the fixes that come up most.

What is a sales page teardown?

A sales page teardown goes through a sales page part by part and finds what's missing or unclear.

It's the review a copywriter would do, as a checklist you can run in minutes.

The 8 parts it checks

Every check sits in 1 of 8 parts of the page:

PartWhat it checks
The promiseA headline that names the result, and who it's for
ProofTestimonials with results, logos, ratings
The offerEverything included, and what each part does
The priceThe price on the page, compared with something
RiskA guarantee, and answers to the top objections
FAQThe questions people ask before they buy
The next stepButtons that say what happens, and more than 1

The fixes that come up most

On sales pages for courses, coaching and memberships, the same few gaps show up again and again:

  • A headline about the product, not the result the buyer gets.
  • Testimonials with no result, just "loved it".
  • No guarantee, or one with no days.
  • Buttons that say "Submit" instead of what happens next.
  • No FAQ, so the last doubts stay unanswered.

How the fixes are ordered

For pricing pages, the fixes are ordered by how common each pattern is on real pricing pages: when yours is missing something most real pages have, that fix ranks first. These numbers come from 109 software pricing pages I read on 2026-09-26, from the tools in my AI tools catalog. Only what the page reader found was kept, never the pages. Every page counted shows a price, so that check isn't in the table.

For sales and landing pages, every check counts the same until I've read enough real ones.

Sales Page Teardown FAQs

Questions about the sales page teardown? Here's what to know.

A sales page teardown goes through a sales page part by part, from the headline to the button, and finds what's missing or unclear.

A sales page should include a headline that names the result, who it's for, proof with results, everything included, the price, a guarantee, an FAQ and buttons that say what happens next.

Show the price on your sales page unless you sell custom work. A hidden price sends people off to look for it, and many don't come back.

A good guarantee says what's refunded, for how many days, and what the buyer has to do. "30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked" is clear.

Yes, the sales page teardown is free, with no sign-up.

Your answers in the sales page teardown stay in your browser. A link is read once to find what's on the page, and the page itself isn't kept.

The sales page teardown can't read pages that build themselves in the browser, need a sign-in or block readers. Paste the page source instead: open the page, choose View source, select all and copy.

The sales page teardown is for creators, coaches and founders selling courses, coaching, memberships, templates or software.

To fix the words, the headline analyzer scores headlines against real A/B tests, and the A/B test calculator tells you when a change really won. See all my free tools.
