How the ranking works
Each city gets a score from 0 to 100 for each thing you care about, and the match is their average, weighted by what you picked:
- Stay cost – the median night in a whole place on Airbnb, from Inside Airbnb's data, cheapest first
- Weather – the average temperature and rain for your month, scored against the range you like
- Safety – the US State Department's travel advice level for the country
- Visa – what your passport needs to get in, and for how many days
- Time zone – how many of your 9 to 5 work hours the city shares
Set anything to Off and it leaves the score.
