The GEICO Gecko
Brand mascot for GEICO
The GEICO Gecko is an advertising mascot created in 1999 by The Martin Agency in Richmond, Virginia, after a brainstorm about people mispronouncing GEICO as gecko. He was animated by Framestore and won a Visual Effects Society award, and has been voiced by Kelsey Grammer, Dave Kelly and, currently, English actor Jake Wood.
