What happens to the music and the background?
They stay. The tool first takes the voice off the music and the background, with the same model my music remover runs.
The new voice goes back over the untouched background, at the old voice's loudness, so the mix sounds the way it did.
Tips for videos made with AI tools
A few things make the new voice sit right in the video.
- Record your sample the way the video talks – an upbeat video wants an upbeat sample.
- Give it 20 to 30 seconds of just you – on the microphone you want to sound like, somewhere quiet.
- Check the words it heard – in your sample, before you use the voice.
- Keep the video under 5 minutes – cut a longer one into parts first.
When your voice says a line slower than the AI did, the tool speeds that line up, up to 1.5 times, without changing its pitch, so it ends before the next one starts.
