How fast it is
On a MacBook Pro with an M1 Max, 22 seconds of speech took 12 seconds with the graphics card. On the processor alone, in a browser without it, 20 seconds took 93.

Tips for natural speech
- Punctuate like you'd speak – a comma is a short pause, a full stop a longer one.
- Write numbers the way you'd say them – dates like 3/4/2026 read as March 4, 2026, and money reads as money.
- Split long paragraphs – it reads a sentence or two at a time and joins them with a short pause.
