This free event name generator writes names for your virtual summit, conference, challenge or workshop, shaped like the names of the best-known virtual summits.

Every name is checked against what those events have in common, and its .com is looked up for you. There's no account. Generate here, or open the same ask in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini for free.

Here's what the best virtual events are called, how to pick a name that lasts, and how to know a name is good.

What is an event name generator?

An event name generator is a tool that writes names for an event from its topic, its audience and what it promises.

This one is built on real names: the 117 events in my 100 best virtual event examples, from my own AI Creator Summit to my students' summits in every niche.

What the best virtual summits are called

I measured the names of all 117 events in my list. The patterns are clear:

PatternHow many of the 117Examples
Ends in "Summit"97Fasting Summit, Tennis Summit
2 to 4 words109Dog Nutrition Summit, Remote Forever Summit
Names the audience25Women's Strength Summit, Get Booked Solid For Photographers Summit
Names an outcome30Self-Publishing Success Summit, Profitable Musician Summit
Leads with a company's name8Mindvalley's AI Summit, Thinkific's YouTube Creator Summit
Has a year1Start Your Ecommerce Business 2025

The median name is 3 words. Most simply say the topic in the words people search for, then say it's a summit.

How to name your virtual event

  • Say the topic plainly. People search for "gut health", not a clever pun. Healthy Gut Experts Summit says it in 4 words.
  • Niche down in the name. My student Steph Gaudreau didn't call hers a Fitness Summit or a Strength Summit. The Women's Strength Summit told the right people it was for them, and she grew her email list by almost 20,000 subscribers.
  • Leave out the year. Only one of the 117 had one. A name without a year works for every edition, and so does its domain.
  • Make it easy to say and spell. People will tell friends about it and type it into a browser.
  • Check the .com and the socials before you fall in love with a name.

A great name helps, but it isn't everything. As I say in my 50 virtual event ideas, I'd even argue that your hook is even more important than your summit name.

How we know a name is good

Every name is checked in code, against the same 117 events:

  • Length: over 5 words is flagged, since 109 of the 117 use 2 to 4
  • Event word: it should say it's an event, like Summit, Conference or School
  • Topic: it should hold a word from your topic, so searches find it
  • Year: flagged, since it dates the name
  • Spelling: characters people can't easily type are flagged

114 of the 117 real events pass every check. Each name also shows what it does well: naming the audience, naming a result, or saying the topic.

Is the .com free?

Under every name you see its .com, and whether it's registered. The answer comes from Verisign's public registry lookup, the company that runs .com, straight from your browser.

"Available" means nobody has registered it. Before you buy it, also search the name on Google, on the social platforms you'll use, and with your country's trademark office.

After you pick a name

Put your event together with how to promote a virtual event, then count down to it in every email with the email countdown timer.

Event Name Generator FAQs

Questions about the event name generator? Here's what to know.

An event name generator writes names for an event from its topic, its audience and what it promises.

This one is built on the names of 117 of the best-known virtual summits, and checks every name it writes.

Yes, it's free, with no account.

Generate here, or open the same ask in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini at no cost.

A good event name says the topic in the words people search for, in 2 to 4 words, and says it's an event.

Of the 117 summits in my list of the best virtual event examples, 97 end in Summit and the median name is 3 words.

Leave it out.

Only one of the 117 best summits I studied had a year in its name, and a name without one works for every edition.

It often helps: 25 of the 117 named their audience, like the Women's Strength Summit.

Naming the audience tells the right people it's for them.

Every name shows whether its .com is registered, straight from the .com registry.

Also search the name on Google, the social platforms you'll use, and your country's trademark office.

It's for anyone hosting a virtual summit, conference, challenge, workshop or webinar series.

Find the idea first with the virtual event idea generator.

Then count down to your event in every email with the email countdown timer.
