The page is opened in a real browser on my server, since yours can't open another site's page for a picture. Only public pages load, and nothing about your link is saved. Use screenshots of other people's sites fairly: to review, compare or refer to them, never to pass their work off as yours.
This free full page screenshot tool captures a web page from the top to the very bottom, not only what fits on your screen.
It loads every picture first and hides cookie banners. Then you download the page as a PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF.

What is a full page screenshot?
A full page screenshot is a picture of a web page from its top to its bottom, including everything you'd scroll to see.
A normal screenshot only catches what fits on your screen at that moment.

Each is 1 full page from its top to its footer, every picture loaded. Here they're cut into columns, read left to right, so they fit.
Why pictures go missing on long pages
Many pages load their pictures only as you scroll down to them. Screenshot the full page without scrolling, and those pictures come out as empty boxes.
This tool scrolls to the bottom and back before it takes the picture, so they're all there.
PNG, JPG or PDF for a long page
A long page makes a big file, so the format matters:
- JPG – the smallest picture of a long page full of photos.
- PNG – the sharpest text, in a bigger file.
- WebP – smaller than both, for putting on a website.
- PDF – the page on one long PDF page, with text you can select and search.
The PDF is drawn from the page itself, not from the picture, so it stays sharp at any zoom.
Full page screenshots without a tool
Chrome has one built in. Open DevTools, turn on device mode, then pick the full size screenshot from its More options menu.
On an iPhone, take a screenshot in Safari, tap its thumbnail, then tap Full Page.
Neither hides cookie banners, and pictures you haven't scrolled to may be missing.

This tool was faster on Wikipedia and Apple, level on Stripe, and a little slower on the BBC. The Guardian took longer here because this tool captured the page, where CloudConvert stopped at the popup.
What came back differed more. Stripe answered CloudConvert in German under its cookie box, and Apple showed it a bar offering another country's store.
CloudConvert captures at 2x from the start, so its pictures are sharper. Here, tick Sharp, 2x for the part you download.

An extension is quickest for a page that's open in front of you, since nothing loads twice. It captures the page as it is in your tab, so close the cookie banner first.
This tool is for a page you'd rather not open, a phone view, one part of a page, or a computer where you can't install anything.
I use CleanShot X and Snagit too, for everything on my screen that isn't a web page.
How I tested
The five pages were busy ones on purpose, with cookie popups, pictures that load as you scroll, and very long layouts.
What it can't capture
Some things don't come through in any screenshot like this:
- Pages behind a login – it sees what anyone signed out sees.
- 3D scenes and video – WebGL, like the globe on Stripe's home page, can come out blank, and a video shows a still frame.
- Very long pages – the picture stops at 16,000 pixels tall. The PDF keeps going, onto a second page.
- Very heavy pages – a page with lots of effects and pictures can take a minute, or run out of time.
- Sites that turn automated browsers away – some answer with an error or a robot check.
For a page behind your login, Chrome can do it itself: open DevTools, turn on device mode, and pick the full size screenshot from its More options menu.
