Visas and residency in Cyprus

Cyprus has a visa for people who work remotely:

  • Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa – an income of €3,500 a month, for 12 months

The US State Department rates Cyprus Level 1 ("Exercise normal precautions", updated 2026-06-01), the same level it gives Austria, Portugal, Japan and Australia. Level 1 is normal travel. Some advisories are stricter for parts of a country, so read the full advisory before you go.
