- Lead with the point: the first line is what people see scrolling past.
- Keep it to 1 idea: a post that makes 1 point gets read to the end.
- Plan the split: if you go past 500, decide where the next post starts instead of letting it break mid-thought.

A 500-character Threads post won't fit in X's 280. Switch to the X tab and the counter splits it into an X thread at the ends of sentences.
