Write the email
This free influencer outreach email generator writes the email you send to invite a speaker or a podcast guest, pitch yourself to a show, or propose a workshop, an affiliate deal or a sponsorship.
It writes to the method I've used for over 10 years, and every email comes with 3 subject lines and a follow-up, checked for the mistakes that get outreach ignored. There's no account. Generate here, or open the same ask in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini for free.
What is an influencer outreach email generator?
An influencer outreach email generator is a tool that writes the first email to someone you'd like to work with: an influencer, an expert, a podcast host or a brand.
A template sounds like a template. This one uses what you know about the person, keeps the email short, and never adds a number or a name you didn't give it.
My formula: Compliment + Value + Request
I've sent hundreds of outreach emails, and this is the formula that works best:
- Compliment: a specific compliment about their work. Find a post, an episode or a product that helped you, and say exactly what you liked.
- Value: how working together helps them. Maybe they're promoting a new book or product, and you'd like to share it with your audience.
- Request: keep it short and specific. Say exactly what you'd like them to do, why, and how it helps them.
Step by step, the email:
- Starts with a specific compliment about their work.
- Says why you're reaching out.
- Suggests what you'd like to collaborate on.
- Mentions the scope of your project.
- Adds social proof by naming others who are involved, if you can.
- Asks if they're interested.
- Ends with a direct, easy next step.
How I write outreach emails today
My method hasn't changed much since 2013. My emails have:
- They're shorter. A few lines, no essay.
- No compliment by default. I only add a personal touch when I have something real and current to say.
- The social proof is the event itself. How many times I've hosted it, how many people watched, and a few names they'll recognize.
- It's easy to say yes. A pre-recorded session with flexible timing, and a low-pressure close.
Pick "Short" for this style, or "Compliment + Value + Request" for the full formula.
Real outreach emails that got a yes
My very first outreach email went to Pat Flynn, in June 2013. I asked him for a quick interview, timed to the launch of my first site.

He said yes the same day.

When I offered Regina Anaejionu a free workshop for her audience, the request was simple and the value was clear. Her reply: "100% yes!"
See the rest, from Robert Greene's team to John Lee Dumas, in how to reach out to influencers.
What's in it for them
- Exposure: their work in front of 1,000s of new people in your audience
- Their own list: a free lead magnet of theirs next to your interview or event
- Promotion: a mention of their product at the end of your session
- Income: affiliate commission on sales they help make
- Content: a professional video or article they can reuse in their own marketing
The mistakes that get outreach ignored
- Asking for a favor before you've given anything
- Sending the same generic template to everyone
- Writing a long email about yourself instead of them
- Being vague about what you actually want
- Getting a detail about their work wrong because you didn't check
- Never following up after the first email
How we know the email is ready
Every email is checked in code before you send it:
- Length: over 150 words is flagged. My invite today is about 90.
- About them: flagged when it says more about you than about them
- The ask: flagged when there's no clear question or next step
- Brackets: anything left in [brackets] to fill in
- Numbers: any number you didn't give it, so nothing made up goes out under your name
- Spam words: the words people and spam filters distrust
- Your detail: flagged when the thing you liked about their work isn't in the email
Subject lines are checked for length, capitals and spam words.
Follow up
Silence doesn't mean no. People are busy, especially bigger names.
I follow up about once a week. When a speaker has said yes but hasn't booked a time yet, I send up to 4 follow-ups, each a little more direct than the last, before I move on. Every email here comes with a short follow-up to send a week later.
Before you reach out, add value first: I cover 33 ways in how to build relationships with influencers.
Who is the influencer outreach email generator for?
