What is a past year review?
A past year review is Tim Ferriss's way to plan a year: look back at last year's calendar, find the people and activities that gave you the best and worst moments, then do more of the first and less of the second.
He says it takes 30 to 60 minutes, and he finds it more useful than resolutions.
How to use the past year review template

Book the good, block the bad
The point is what you do next. Your starred highs become "do more of", each with a day you book right away:
It’s not real until it’s in the calendar.
Your starred lows become your not-to-do list. Keep it where you'll see it for the first weeks of the year, when old habits come back.
