What is a video background blur?
A video background blur keeps the person in a video sharp, and softens everything behind them.
It hides a messy room and pulls the eye to you. This tool finds you in every frame, so the blur stops at your hair and shoulders instead of spilling over them.
Blur or bokeh
The 2 looks blur your room in different ways:

Bokeh uses a second AI model that works out how far back each part of the room is. The wall right behind you softens a little, and the far end a lot.
Your video's own grain stays in the blur, so it doesn't look plastic.
Amount sets how strong either one is, from 1 to 10. The first time you pick Bokeh, your browser downloads the second model once, 50 MB.
Formats, sizes and length
You can drop MP4, MOV and WebM videos that your browser can play. The new video keeps your video's size, up to 4K, and a bigger video comes out at 4K.
Each video can be up to 5 minutes. For a longer one, you pick a start and an end, and you can do the next part after.
How it works
It runs in your browser, one frame at a time:

The first time, your browser downloads the AI model once, 88 MB, and keeps it. It runs on your graphics chip where your browser allows it.
What it still gets wrong
It's made for people on camera: talking heads, presenters and creators. A product, a pet or a car won't come out cleanly, and for a photo of one there's the image background remover.
A hand waving fast is blurred in the video itself, so its edge is soft. Where your clothes or hair match the wall, edges can wander.
