The right AI tool depends on the job. Generating a video from a prompt, editing an interview and creating an avatar video need different things. Start with what you want to make, then narrow your options.
This finder draws from my AI tools library and the tools on my own site. Pick a workflow, choose the task and pricing model, and explore the matches. Click any tool pill to open its details without losing your place.
How to find an AI tool
The shortlist starts with the choices recorded in my library and toolkit. A tool still has to match the task and filters you selected. A tool I like for one job may be a poor fit for another.
Build a small AI stack
Choose up to 2 workflows in Build a stack. The finder looks for a small set of tools that covers those jobs. If 1 tool covers both, it can appear on its own. If a job has no match under your filters, the finder tells you.
Start by testing one real piece of work. Add another subscription when it solves a specific gap in your workflow.
Compare features and pricing
Compare tools shows the descriptions, categories, platforms and review notes recorded in the library. An empty field says Not recorded. It does not mean the tool lacks that feature.
Pricing filters use the recorded pricing model. Free means the entry is labeled Free. Free plan also includes Freemium. Free trials and starter credits are separate from an ongoing free plan. Open-source software may still involve hosting or model costs.
Exact prices, credits, export limits, commercial rights and plan-specific features can change. Open the provider's current plan details before deciding. The finder does not calculate a monthly stack total from incomplete prices.
Explore a creator's tools
In Creator picks, search a name or ask a question such as which tools a creator uses. Select the person to see their recorded picks. These are the connections in the library, not a claim that we know their entire current setup.
If their tools have not been recorded, the finder says so. It does not fill the gap with guesses. My own recommendations remain the default in Find tools.

It matches the job, task, pricing model and platform you choose against the library. Navid's recorded toolkit and favorite flags inform the order. Specific workflow recommendations, when recorded, take priority among matching tools.
Yes. The finder is free and does not require a login. The tools it recommends may be free, freemium, paid, open source or available through a trial.
No. The free-plan filter includes tools recorded as Free or Freemium. A free trial or a limited starter-credit offer does not qualify.
Yes, when that creator has tool connections recorded in the library. If their tools have not been recorded, it says so rather than guessing.
No. It shows facts recorded in the library and marks missing details as Not recorded. Check the provider for current pricing, limits and plan-specific features.
