Your Claude prompt

Your prompt shows up here, checked against the platform's own rules.

What you type is kept in this browser. It goes to the page's AI only when you press a button that writes, remixes or tests; the checks run in your browser. Each platform's rules come from its own guide, read on 2026-09-27.

Here's what Claude's own guide asks for, how the generator writes to it, and how to check a prompt before you use it.

What is a Claude prompt generator?

A Claude prompt generator is a tool that turns what you want into a complete Claude prompt, written to Anthropic's own best practices: clear and direct, with XML sections and examples in tags.

What Claude's own guide asks for

The generator writes every prompt to these rules, read on 2026-09-27:

  • Clear and direct, as if briefing a brilliant new colleague who has no context. If you want more than the minimum, ask for it outright.
  • Give the reason behind each rule: Claude generalizes from the why ("read aloud by a text-to-speech engine, so no ellipses").
  • 3 to 5 examples, relevant and varied, each in <example> tags inside <examples>, so they're never read as instructions.
  • XML tags with consistent names separate the parts: <role>, <context>, <instructions>, <examples>, <input>, <output_format>.
  • A one-line role at the top.
  • Long documents go at the top, the question and instructions at the end (Anthropic measured up to 30% better answers).
  • Say what to do instead of what not to do ("write in flowing paragraphs", not "no markdown"), and write the prompt in the style you want back.
  • Current Claude models follow instructions literally and answer briefly: ask for a summary, detail or length explicitly.
  • Format: XML-tagged sections.
  • For agentic work (Claude Code, Cowork): state the quality bar and that it matters, grant the tools, tell it to work on its own until done, point it at what to read first, and cap any spend ("max spend is $10").

For Claude Code, Cowork and long runs

For agentic work, the prompt that people reran on their own projects this month worked for 4 reasons: it stated the quality bar and that it mattered, granted the tools, said to work until done, and capped the spend. The Claude Code prompt generator writes those for code.

A Claude prompt generator is a tool that turns what you want into a complete Claude prompt, written to Anthropic's own best practices: clear and direct, with XML sections and examples in tags.

Anthropic's own guide says tags help Claude separate your instructions, context, examples and input without mixing them up.

The Claude prompt generator uses consistent tags and checks every one is closed.

Every answer from the page's AI costs me money, so each person gets 10 prompts, 15 remixes and 5 test runs a day.

The limit keeps the Claude prompt generator free for everyone and stops bots from using it up.

The page hands the same job to your own AI, with your answers filled in.

It runs in your account, so it's free and has no limit, and the checks still work on what you paste back.

Yes, the Claude prompt generator is free, with no login.

The checks and the downloads work in your browser with no limit.
