Your Claude Code prompt
What you type is kept in this browser. It goes to the page's AI only when you press a button that writes, remixes or tests; the checks run in your browser. Each platform's rules come from its own guide, read on 2026-09-27.
This free Claude Code prompt generator writes task prompts a senior engineer would want: scope, a check to run, and done when.
Here's what Claude Code's own guide asks for, how the generator writes to it, and how to check a prompt before you use it.
What is a Claude Code prompt generator?
A Claude Code prompt generator is a tool that turns a coding task into a prompt Claude Code can finish on its own: the goal, the files, the pattern to follow, a check it can run, and when it's done.
How to use the Claude Code prompt generator
What Claude Code's own guide asks for
The generator writes every prompt to these rules, read on 2026-09-27:
- Give it a check it can run: tests, a build, a script that diffs output, or a screenshot to compare. "Run the tests after implementing" turns a session you watch into one you can leave.
- Scope the task: which files, which scenario, what "fixed" looks like. Reference files with @path instead of describing where code lives.
- Point to patterns already in the codebase ("look at how HotDogWidget.php is built and follow it") and to the source that can answer a question (git history, a doc URL).
- Describe the symptom, the likely location and the proof: "users report login fails after session timeout; check src/auth/, write a failing test that reproduces it, then fix it."
- Address root causes: "fix it and verify the build succeeds; don't suppress the error."
- For anything uncertain or multi-file: explore first, then plan, then implement (plan mode); if the change fits in one sentence, skip the plan.
- Ask it to show evidence (the test output, the command and its result, a screenshot) rather than say it's done.
- For a large feature, have it interview you with AskUserQuestion and write SPEC.md first, then run the spec in a fresh session.
- Rules that apply to every session belong in CLAUDE.md (short: commands, style that differs from defaults, gotchas); rules for some jobs belong in a skill.
- Format: plain task prose with the file paths, the constraints and the check, in the order a teammate would need them.
- For long unattended runs: state the quality bar, grant the tools, say to work until the check passes, point at what to read first, and cap any spend.

The one thing that matters most
Anthropic's own guide puts it first: give Claude a check it can run, like tests, a build or a screenshot to compare. Without one, "looks done" is the only signal, and you become the check. Every prompt the generator writes names one, and a check in code flags any prompt without it.
