Say what you do in one clear line: who you help, the result they get and why you, backed by your own proof. Then use it everywhere you introduce yourself.

Say who you help, the result they get and your proof. Get five one-liners, scored, and everything built on the best one.

Add who you help first.

What you type is kept in this browser. Your answers go to the page's AI only when you press Write or a remix; the scores, the images and the site are made in your browser, and nothing is uploaded. Say it uses your browser's own speech recognition.

This free value proposition generator turns what you do into one clear line people remember: who you help, the result they get, and why you, backed by your own proof.

You give it who you help, the result and your proof, one fact a line. Or paste your bio, or answer five questions about your strengths. You get five one-liners, each scored on the 4C filter, the problems you solve, your story, and a toolkit for every place you introduce yourself.

Here's what a value proposition is, how this generator writes one, and how to know yours works.

What is a value proposition generator?

A value proposition generator is a tool that turns what you know about your work into a short statement of who you help, what they get and why they should pick you.

This one is for people who sell what they know: creators, coaches, consultants, freelancers and founders. It's free, with no login, and it never makes up proof.

What makes a good value proposition?

A good value proposition passes four tests. I call them the 4C filter:

Clear
The test
A reader gets it in one pass, in under 20 words
What fails it
Jargon, and 3 ideas in 1 line
Credible
The test
Every claim rests on something real you gave it
What fails it
Numbers and awards you can't show
Customer focused
The test
It names who it's for and the result they want
What fails it
Lines about you, not them
Compelling
The test
It's specific enough to want more
What fails it
Category words like "solutions"

The generator runs 11 checks in code across the four, on every line it writes, and shows you the ones that failed.

The five structures it writes

Every one-liner uses a different structure, so you can compare them side by side:

I help
The shape
I help [who] [get a result] without [the pain]
Example
I help new home baristas pull café shots in 2 weeks without wasting beans.
One-liner
The shape
The problem, what you do, the result
Example
Home baristas are tired of sour shots. I teach espresso by taste, so they pull café shots in 2 weeks.
Positioning
The shape
For [who] who [need], I [what you do]. Unlike [the alternative], [the difference].
Example
For home baristas who want café coffee, I teach espresso by taste. Unlike YouTube, you learn on your own machine.
Outcome first
The shape
[The result] for [who], [the proof]
Example
Café shots at home in 2 weeks, from a barista of 12 years.
Before and after
The shape
From [where they are] to [where they want to be]
Example
From sour shots and guesswork to café coffee at home.

The one-liner shape is Donald Miller's, from StoryBrand, and the positioning statement is Geoffrey Moore's, from Crossing the Chasm.

How to use the value proposition generator

Your answers stay in this browser, so you can come back to them.

Sharpen your bio, or find your strengths

Most people don't start from a blank page. So there are two more ways in.

Sharpen my bio. Paste the bio you use today, or pull it from a profile link on X, Instagram, LinkedIn and 11 more networks. It keeps what's true and specific, drops the filler, and builds your value proposition from it.

Find my strengths. Adjectives like "passionate" prove nothing. Evidence does: a win, what people thank you for, what they ask you to help with, what's easy for you and hard for others, and a result you got someone else. The generator names your strengths from those answers, and each strength points at the answer it came from.

@simonsinek

People don't buy what you do; they buy why you do it.

That's why your story is part of it. The generator writes it two ways, each under 120 words: your journey, in your words, and your customer's struggle, speaking to them. You pick the one for your site.

Your toolkit: one line, every place you show up

A value proposition only works if it's the same everywhere. So the generator writes each piece from the one-liner you pick, and counts each one against its room:

Paste the LinkedIn headline into the LinkedIn character counter to see it where it's cut, and the signature line into the email signature generator.

Say it out loud

A line you can't say is a line you won't use. The Say it step reads your one-liner and your pitch aloud, then times you as you say them.

Your browser's own speech recognition shows the words you skipped and your pace. Your one-liner should take about 7 seconds, and your pitch 30. The elevator pitch generator starts right there.

Your one-liner as an image and a site

Your one-liner downloads as an image in five sizes: a post, a portrait post, a LinkedIn banner, an X header and a story. Each one is in your look, light or dark, with your logo.

The site step turns your message into a one-page site, as one HTML file you can put on any host:

  • Your one-liner on top, with a button to your site or your signup.
  • What you solve, each problem in your customer's words next to how you solve it.
  • Your strengths with their proof, your story with your photo, and your pitch.
  • Your logo for light and dark pages, your name and your brand color, read from your website in one click.
  • Nine looks measured from real brands' sites, or your own brand color and DESIGN.md.
  • A signup that goes to your own email platform.

How to know your value proposition works

No tool can promise a line will sell. What this one does is check, in code, what a clear value proposition needs:

  • Five one-liners, in at least three structures.
  • Every number is one you gave it.
  • Each line says who it's for and the result, in under 20 words.
  • No hype words, and no dash as punctuation.
  • Each toolkit piece fits its room, and the pitch fits 30 seconds.

Then the real test. Say it to three people who fit your who, and ask them what you do. If they can say it back, it works.

Who is the value proposition generator for?

It's for anyone who sells what they know and needs to say it in one line:

Give it to your AI

Download MESSAGE.md and put it where your AI reads it: a Claude Project, a ChatGPT project, or your AI OS's context folder. It holds your one-liner, your proof and rules like "use only the proof below", so everything your AI writes about you says the same thing.

Or pick a prompt in Keep going, with your message already in it:

AskUse it when
Write my home pageYour site still says what you did last year
Write 5 posts that prove itYou want people to see the proof, not just the claim
Write my sales page heroYou're launching an offer
Write a cold emailYou want 1 client this month
Pitch me to a podcastYou want to reach an audience that fits your who
Test it on a strangerYou want to know what people hear

Value Proposition Generator FAQs

Questions about the value proposition generator? Here's what to know.

A value proposition generator is a tool that turns what you know about your work into a short statement of who you help, what they get and why you.

This value proposition generator also scores each line on the 4C filter, writes your toolkit and builds a one-page site.

"I help new home baristas pull café shots in 2 weeks without wasting beans" is a good one.

It names who, the result and a time frame in 16 words, and the numbers come from the person's own proof.

A value proposition says who you help, the result and why you, so it's usually a full sentence.

A tagline is a short phrase for your logo or banner, and the generator writes one from your value proposition.

Yes, pick Sharpen my bio and paste it, or pull it from a profile link on X, Instagram, LinkedIn and 11 more networks.

The value proposition generator keeps what's true and specific and drops the filler.

No, every number, client and result has to come from your answers or your proof.

A check in code flags any number you didn't give, and facts only you have become slots in square brackets.

No, the value proposition canvas is Strategyzer's tool, and they keep its use in software for themselves.

This generator uses its own map of what you solve: each problem in your customer's words, next to how you solve it.

Yes, the value proposition generator opens the same job in your own ChatGPT, Claude or other AI with your answers filled in.

It runs in your account, so it's free, and you can paste the reply back to score it here.

Every answer from the page's AI costs me money, so each person gets 5 value propositions and 8 remixes a day.

The limit keeps the tool free for everyone and stops bots from using it up.

The page hands the same job to your own AI, with your answers filled in.

It runs in your account, so it's free and has no limit, and the scores still work on what you paste back.

Your answers and your value propositions are kept in your own browser.
