On a $100 sale, that leaves you $96.80 on your own site, $89.30 on Teachable Starter, $91.80 on Podia Mover and $86.30 on Gumroad.
Most platforms also charge a monthly plan; Gumroad and Udemy don't. Cards from other countries cost more: Teachable charges 3.9% + 30¢ for them, and Stripe adds 1.5%.
Udemy's split
Udemy pays you 97% of a sale when the student uses your coupon or referral link, and 37% of the rest.
Both are shares of the net: what the student paid, less taxes and the app stores' 30% on sales in the iOS and Android apps. On a $100 net sale, that's $97 through your link and $37 from the marketplace.
Udemy often sells courses below the list price, so enter what students actually pay.

Start from what you want to keep. At the same 8,000 people and 1.5% buying, keeping $10,000 a month on Teachable Starter takes a price of about $97.59.
