You at 90
Pick what you want to still do at 90. Each one walks back to what it needs from you today.

This free fitness age calculator shows where your VO2 max heads by 90 at the average decline, and what a hilly hike at 90 needs from you today.
Add your VO2 max from your watch, or from NTNU's free calculator. If your Garmin gives you a Fitness Age, add that too.
What is a fitness age calculator?
A fitness age calculator compares your fitness with the average for your age. NTNU's calculator and Garmin Connect both give you one.
This tool adds the part they don't: your VO2 max walked forward to 90, and the tasks you want at 90 walked back to today.
Why VO2 max matters
In a study of 122,007 patients, the fittest group had an 80% lower risk of death than the least fit, with no upper limit found.
That's why Peter Attia trains it on purpose, with four zone 2 rides a week and one interval session.
Your VO2 max to 90
With no training, VO2 max falls about 10% a decade until 50, then up to 15%, by Attia's numbers. For someone at 45 at age 40:
| Age | VO2 max with no training |
|---|---|
| 40 | 45 |
| 50 | 40.5 |
| 60 | 34.4 |
| 70 | 29.3 |
| 80 | 24.9 |
| 90 | 21.1 |
A hilly hike at 90 takes a VO2 max near 30.
On that line, this person drops below it around 70. Keep training, and the line bends.
Your tracker's age
WHOOP, Oura, Bevel and Garmin each give you an age of their own, worked out their own way. Add yours on the Tests step, and the tool shows it next to your real age, with a link to how each company works it out.
Start where you are
Add your VO2 max on the Tests step, pick your tasks on the You at 90 step, and the tool shows what to train first. Then take the full longevity test.
