Both converters kept every pixel: each PNG scored 100. This converter's PNGs were 5% to 26% smaller, packed tighter by OxiPNG.
The converter starts on Lossless, so nothing changes. For a much smaller PNG that still looks the same, pick High: the screenshot became 67 KB instead of 186 KB, at a score of 90.9.
How I tested
I tested on September 29, 2026. I saved 3 pictures as WebP at quality 85, a common setting: Kodak test photo 23, a Mac screenshot and the PNG transparency demonstration from Wikimedia Commons.
The score is SSIMULACRA 2, a metric from Cloudinary that compares two pictures the way your eye does:
